PMU Ball Committee Presents Donation of €31,700 to young.hope Research Center

On January 25, 2025, the annual charity ball of the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU) took place above the rooftops of Salzburg – in the Stieglkeller. The ball is traditionally organized by the fourth-year students of the PMU and is always dedicated to a good cause.
In 2025, the ball was entirely focused on the young.hope project. This is a research center for pediatric and adolescent medicine at the Salzburg University Hospital, dedicated to studying rare metabolic disorders and developmental disorders in children and adolescents. An interdisciplinary team works intensively to better understand these complex diseases – around 4,000 people in Austria alone are affected.
The ball committee of the PMU Charity Ball 2025 consisted of a group of eleven students who, in the past academic year, showed great commitment and remarkable diligence alongside their regular studies to provide sponsors, guests, and honorary guests with an unforgettable evening. This endeavor was a great success: a total donation amount of €31,700 was raised, which was symbolically presented yesterday at the University Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
The ball committee consisted of Paula Agritzer, Nicolas Beger, Sinah Dreher, Simon Fischnaller, Lotte Forer, Charlotte Götz, Patrick Hilpold, Paul Indyk, Chiara Schäfer, Laura Scherf, and Paula Lischent.
